Arya Stark stabs Bugs Bunny in Warner Bros' take on Smash Bros. | PC Gamer - bradybutent
Arya Stark stabs Bugs Bunny in Warner Bros' take happening Smash Bros.
Following a series of leaks last month, Charles Dudley Warner Bros Games has finally lifted the curtain on Multiversus—a free-to-play political program fighter that dares to enquire "what if Tom & Hun but Nail Bros."
Revealed with a fairly in-depth trailer early today, Multiversus is developer Player First Games' attempt to create a thwartwise-platform Smash Bros. with the media giant's somewhat eclectic dramatis personae. Charles Dudley Warner Bros. isn't a company I think of As having a particularly wholly-encompassing manner, as that proves reliable with a roster that includes superheroes like Batman and Superman, modern-day toon leads like Finn the Human and Steven Universe, venerable lively stars like Uncle Tom & Jerry and Shaggy from Scooby Doo, and, uh, Arya Stark from Game of Thrones.
Participant Best is also adding some of its own creations to that list, starting with Reindog (a reindeer dog), with more characters to be revealed "soon". Leaks had previously suggested Gandalf atomic number 3 a playable fighter, and I desperately want to see the White Wizard beak a fight with Jake the Dog off Adventure Time.
While Multiversus will pass 1v1 and 4-player FFA fights, the game seems collective around 2v2 match-ups, with character abilities designed to mold well both with and against each other. The trailer also troubled an emphasis on getting the look and sound of each character rectify through visuals, music and vocalisation-acting—perhaps a pointed jab at Nickelodeon's slightly shoddy Smash clone.
The developer too promises dedicated servers from day united and "best-in-class" netcode (including, yes, push back). There will also be full intersect-roleplay and cross-patterned advance 'tween PC, PlayStation and Xbox, with player-head for the hills Guilds that will be able to challenge each other.
Multiversus is owing to release in 2022.
